NEW Stuff!!

Hello? Hello? Are you there??

It's been so long since I have talked to you!!

I have been SUPER busy getting all your Christmas orders done..
I am getting caught up, slowly but surely!

I have found a small amount of time to hunt down new patterns though!!
Here are a few of what I have stashed!

This is called The Bea Tutu. The pattern can be found on Ravelry. I think this is ADORABLE- and it would be super cute with these:

The Bea Legwarmers!! They are also on Ravelry.

Both of those patterns are by Natural Nora Crochet. How CUTE!!

I think I will be making myself a Fiona Button Scarf, if I ever find time.
Jennifer Dickerson hit this one out of the park, if you ask me!

Get ready to *gasp*! There are some of the cutest amis coming up I have seen in a long time!!

I know a couple of those are "halloween-ish" but they are still CUTE!
They have all been created by Little Muggles; I found them on Ravelry.

Baby Boots anyone??

Awesome pattern by Rebecca PatternMa on Ravelry!

One more--

I think I am in LOVE with this new doll!!

The Daphne Doll can also be found on Ravelry, thanks to Becca Homick!

Well folks, I have to get back to work. Let's not wait so long to talk again... okay?

Finished Order

This was a doozie!! I had an order for a Counting Cookies Set, a Grocery Set, a Learning Colors Set and a group of 5 Little Monkeys. That comes to a whopping 243 pieces before they are all put together...

Here is a comparison shot (missing 11 pieces in the top pic)

And here are the individual groups--

The Learning Colors Set
 The Grocery Set
 The Counting Cookies
 and the Monkeys

Everything is all ready to go!!

It was sure a lot of work but definitely worth it! This order is going to a daycare in South Dakota, so I know it will get a lot of use and hopefully teach those kiddies something!

**These are all CrochetNPlayDesigns patterns, you can find her spotlight on the last post**

Blankets

After that post yesterday I got excited about blankets again! I have about 4 of them on the order list right now, but I'm always looking for new ones- so here are a few of my new favorites.

This one is called the Classic Baby Blanket by Rayn Blair. I think it is PERFECT for any little boy or girl, and also would be a great piece to be passed down from generation to generation.

A friend sent me a link to a blanket similar to this one and I knew I had to find a pattern for it. Can't you just see your babe sitting on here poking at all those little dots sticking out??! So cute! Also, another blanket for boys or girls- just take the ruffle edge off and add a simple border and you are all set! This pattern comes from Lauren Brown and is called Polka Dots & Frills Baby Blanket

Lion Brand has some awesome free patterns, like this one called Delicious Colors. Pick colors to match your decor and you have a great blankie to snuggle up with! This one measures about 30"x35" when finished.

Awww, I really like these little loveys! This little grey bear was found on Etsy in the missybdesigns shop. It is absolutely adorable and would be a best friend for any little person! Love it! I would guess it's about 17" square when it's done- that's the typical size for these. I also have some patterns saved for owl and doll loveys.

Now on to the big boys! This is a very simple pattern for a Chunky Afghan Sofa Throw. I can just see this on my couch, your couch, my mom's couch... everyone should have a chunky throw, don't you think??! I found this pattern on Etsy also- in the MouseAndThimble shop. They have lots of cute stuff!

This is another chunky throw from Lion Brand. It says it's a 5 1/2 hour throw- but it takes a little longer than that- not much though! I have made a few of these and everyone that has them LOVES them- they are great for snuggling up with a good book. I have this pattern bookmarked on Ravelry and it can be found here.

This blanket is one that I actually made and sold to a girl I graduated with who now lives in California. I am excited for her to get it- I know her little girl will love it. It's just the perfect size for kids. Or grown up laps, too! I have made a few of these and haven't had a complaint yet! The pattern was a mix of Mamachee's chevron throw and this throw by Judy Hice for Coats & Clark. The stitch pattern was taken from Mamachee and the color from Judy Hice, obviously. :)

These are just a few of my favorite blankets, I have SEVERAL more bookmarked on Ravelry, Etsy and on my Crochet board on Pinterest. You can find me on any of those sites!
As always, I am willing to make any of these blankets for you - just let me know which one you are interested in and I'll be happy to send you pricing info!

Ready for Some Random-ness??!

This will be the first of many RaNdOm posts- they will come out of nowhere and come at random times- what fun!

I had a friend pin a link to this blanket on Pinterest and knew I HAD to get the pattern- this will be a good seller for SURE! I have lots of football fan friends all over the country and I can see this blanket in all sorts of colors!

Iowa Hawkeyes, ISU Cyclones, App State Mountaineers, NC Tarheels, Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers... the list goes on and on!! Imagine all the possibilities!!
Didn't even mention all the High School Football teams out there!!

Here is the link to the post on Bizzy Crochet.

And here is the cool pic of the one she is working on!

Can't you just see one on your lap while you cheer on your favorite player??!

I do have the book on order and hope to have it in the next couple weeks- then I can check the size and post more information and eventually a price! If you want to get on the order list email me!

Heads Up!!

I have been busy working on a few very detailed sets of toys for someone and decided to take a short break so I could get a HAT post published! I dug through my archived favorites on Ravelry and Etsy to find some new hats that I am sure you will all LOVE as much as I do!

This Shell Stitch Flapper Hat designed by Erin Hansen is simply beautiful! I love it!
Her pattern can be found here and is available in the following sizes:
0-6m, 6-12m, 1-3yr, and 3-10yrs.
I have also tagged an adult hat similar to this- if you are interested let me know!

This one is PERFECT for a first photo shoot! Love the little puff balls on it!
It was designed by Bella-Rae Crochet and is available in the following sizes:
0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m and Toddler
(photo was taken by Elizabeth Fulton, check out her Facebook Page.

Next is the Aubrin by Chanelle Jones at Hover Creations. This hat is made with bulky yarn so it can be made super fast and is super soft! I love how the huge ruffle on the side adds just enough pizzaz!
Available in sizes: Toddler to Adult

This is something similar to the first hat on this post, but also a little different. This pattern was written by Lisa Dean at Loops of Love. She has the pattern written for the following sizes:
0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, toddler, child/small adult, and adult.

Who doesn't love a cupcake??
Angels Chest Boutique has created this cute little hat just for you little cupcake!
Her hat is available in sizes newborn to adult.

This one will be perfect for a chilly winter day! It even has the perfect name, Snow Day!
Marken of the Hat & I wrote this pattern. It is available in the following sizes:
0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 1-3y, 3-10y, 10y+, and adult M, and adult L
Think of all the colors you could combine- match to a coat, school colors, or even rainbow!

I love this old-school lookin' earflap hat by Melanie Padron from 3 Boys & A Ball of Yarn.
She has the pattern written for everyone, newborn - adult.
Get one for this winter!

Guess who wrote this one!! Of course I couldn't have a post without a couple hats from the one and only Tara Murray! She runs the Mamachee shop on Ravelry and also has a shop on Etsy.
She calls this hat the Hansel and Gretel hat. I LOVE the detail on the girly version below!
Sizes available are newborn to adult for both styles.

I think this is one of my all time favorite hats, the Backtrack Beanie from Busy Mom Designs.
It is perfect for boys and girls and is also reversible so you can change it up every day if you want to!
It looks great with the little flower attached, or "inside-out" with no flower. I love everything about this hat and have lost count of how many I have made. Love. Love. Love it!
Available in the following sizes: premie to adult large

Here is the cowboy hat I mentioned the other day in the baby shoe post. This looks great with the little cowboy boots! Elizabeth Alan from The Lovely Crow wrote this pattern for this cute hat.
Sizes available are newborn - 4T.

I just found this hat today and fell.in.love!! I think the cables on the side and the little fold on the side are so neat! There are sure some creative people out there!!
This one is called Boutique Ribbed Cable Cloche and was written by Guinever Parisi.
The pattern says "one size" so I take that to mean older child-adult sizes.

There are a bunch of other hats that I love out there so keep checking back for more. I will try to get a post done with more "boy" hats, too.

As always, if there is something you are looking for and don't see let me know and I'll do what I can to help!

I will make any of these hats pictured and most can be made in any color!
